The Word of the Buddha

Image
I have shown you the methods that lead to liberation, But you should know that liberation depends upon yourself.[1] Buddha Shakyamuni All dharmas originate from causes. The Tathagata has taught these causes, And also that which puts a stop to these causes— This too has been taught by the Great Shramana. Buddha Shakyamuni: Essence of Dependent Origination dharani [2] Monks and learned ones, Just as gold is burnt, cut and rubbed, Examine my words carefully and Do not accept them simply out of respect. In the last five hundred year period, I will ap...

Nangkor CS Celebrates Her 25th Birthday

Image
I am immensely delighted to see Nangkor school attaining her 25 years as a peak of learning in the east.  It is always privileged and proud to be Nangkorean ( student alumni of Nangkor school), having gotten an opportunity to study in such a prestigious school was everyone's wish. I was happy to be a part of Nangkor and to study there with highly qualified teachers and fellow mates whose heart and soul were endowed with milk of human kindness -beautiful souls.  To commemorate the 25 years of her impactful presence of NCS I have written a narrative article of my stay in the school. Here it reads... In the words of a young boy[me] who wanted to study in his awaited dream school to chase his goal, wrote a memoir in retrospect, reads the following:  'How I Remember My Alma Mater Being Once a Nangkorean' “Memories are always special Sometimes we laughed by remembering the day we cried. And we cried by remembering the day we laughed….!! That’s life.” I came to Na...

The third is a wife / a husband like a boss. 4. The fourth is a wife / a husband like a mother / a father. 5. The fifth is a wife / a husband like a sister / a brother. 6. The sixth is a wife / a husband like a friend. 7. The seventh is a wife / a husband like a servant. THERE ARE SEVEN KINDS OF WIVES Firstly, a wife who has a malicious mind is not faithful in marriage, abandons her husband, has nefarious relations with other men just because she is overwhelmed by their wealth or appearance, disdain her husband, has affection, and charms with others. Such a wife, the Tathagata calls the wife like a murderer. Secondly, the wife does not take general care of the family economy; on the contrary, she still wastes the legal property of her husband creating. Such a wi...
